Alessio Rovera to Test Ferrari 499P in Bahrain
Alessio Rovera, a Ferrari GT factory driver and Hypercar reserve driver, will take part in the Bahrain rookie test in the No. 83 Ferrari entry.
The 30-year-old Italian will drive AF Corse's satellite 499P at the Sakhir circuit, marking his first official outing in the car.
- Rovera serves as the reserve driver for Ferrari's Hypercar squad.
- He is currently second in the LMGT3 class standings alongside co-drivers Simon Mann and Francois Heriau.
While Sunday's test will not mark Rovera's first laps in Ferrari's LMH car, it will be his first in an officially-timed session.
