The second week of action in the campaign to end greyhound racing exceeded expectations, with events taking place across the country.
It began on October 18th with a demonstration at Brighton and Hove racetrack and an outreach day in Saltburn, 300 miles away.
Thanks to the efforts of Shut Down Campaigns and dedicated activists, actions were held in many locations, promoting the campaign and calling for the closure of local tracks.
Since the campaign launched this summer, the initial target of 10,000 signatures on the government petition has been surpassed, but 100,000 signatures are needed to trigger a parliamentary debate.
