Ramsay Set for First Liverpool Appearance in Nearly 3 Years
Calvin Ramsay is poised to make his first appearance for Liverpool's first team in nearly 3 years, following an injury to Jeremie Frimpong.
Ramsay's last appearance for the team was in November 2022, but he is now in contention for a return against Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup fourth-round tie.
The right-back has been playing for the U21s squad, but his early withdrawal from Sunday's 4-1 victory over Everton could hint at his involvement in the upcoming match.
With Frimpong's absence, Conor Bradley is the only other fit specialist right-back, and rotation is likely to be employed for the cup.
Ramsay scored the young Reds' second goal on his eighth appearance of the season.
The 22-year-old is expected to make the squad for the 7.45pm kickoff on Wednesday.
