Pokémon Legends: Z-A Mega Dimension DLC Release Date and Details
Nintendo has unveiled new information about the upcoming Mega Dimension DLC for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, featuring two new Raichu evolution variants. The trailer confirms the DLC's release date as December 10.
New Mega Evolutions and Hyperspace Lumiose
The DLC introduces new Mega Evolutions including Mega Chimecho and Mega Baxcalibur. Players explore Hyperspace Lumiose, a different version of Lumiose City, accessed with the help of the dimension portal Pokémon Hoopa.
"At a glance, Hyperspace Lumiose may resemble the real Lumiose, but it’s a very different place."
In this dimension, Pokémon can temporarily exceed the usual Level 100 cap. This unique feature is supported by a new character, Ansha, a donut chef who feeds Pokémon mystical treats that allow over-leveling within the area's limits.
Allies and Mega Stone Distribution
- Pokémon X and Y gym leader Korrina appears as an ally in the DLC.
- The Mega Stone to unlock Mega Baxcalibur will be distributed during Season 4 of the game's online ranked battles.
- This follows similar releases of Mega Stones for Mega Greninja, Mega Delphox, and Mega Chesnaught.
