The University of Toronto community will come together on November 11 to commemorate Remembrance Day, marking the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. Events across all three campuses will honour soldiers and veterans from both World Wars and other conflicts, welcoming participation from all U of T members.
Flags at U of T's three campuses will be lowered to half-mast as a sign of respect for those who have served, including students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
The Service of Remembrance will be held at Soldiers’ Tower. The program begins with a carillon recital by composer and performer Naoko Tsujita at 10:10 a.m., followed by the official ceremony starting at 10:30 a.m.

Similar ceremonies are planned at U of T Scarborough and U of T Mississauga, ensuring all campuses honour this important day.
