Power Outages in Reno and Washoe Valley
Approximately 6,000 customers are experiencing power outages in southwest Reno and Washoe Valley.
According to the NVEnergy website, the outage in southwest Reno was first reported around 5 p.m. and is currently under investigation.
- 3,000 customers in southwest Reno are affected by the outage.
- Nearly 3,000 customers in Washoe Valley experienced power outages, but power has since been restored.
There is no estimated time for restoration of power in southwest Reno.
No official reason for the outages has been given.
