Netflix has surprised fans by releasing the opening five minutes of Stranger Things Season 5 on November 6. The preview offers a glimpse of the chilling new episodes soon to be available.
The teaser takes viewers back to the series' beginning in 1983, focusing on Will Byers' first terrifying experience. It reveals what happened to Will after his kidnapping by the Demogorgon.
Will, portrayed by Noah Schnapp, is shown lying semi-conscious in the eerie Upside Down forest. While asleep, he sings “Should I Stay or Should I Go.” Suddenly, he wakes up in fear as the Demogorgon approaches to attack.
The clip ends with Will firing at the creature and attempting to escape the dark world.
